Maharaj Hospital Christmas Eve-2009
Once again, on Christmas Eve, the Chiang Mai ToyRide Committee volunteered to help Santa Claus make his rounds at Maharaj Hospital in Chiang Mai. Santa uses pickup trucks when there is no snow (I bet you didn’t know that).

This is an annual event where Santa and his CMTR helpers present toys to the children who are in hospital for Christmas. The GOOD news is there were fewer children than last Christmas.
“Sometimes even Santa with his load of toys must wait.”
“The children could hardly believe their eyes.”
The photos tell their own story;
.
“The staff would continue to pass out toys to children recuperating or awaiting treatment in the areas that even Santa cannot go.”
“Somewhat tired, but very pleased, Santa and the ToyRider’s took a short break before saying farewell for this year.”
“Putting Smiles on Children’s Faces”; that’s what it’s all about.
Happy Holidays to all!
